Dr. Shey Ditto is a board-certified general surgeon at ATX Robotic Surgery whose practice includes robotic general surgery, bariatric surgery, and cosmetic surgery. He brings an unusual breadth of experience to patient care: before becoming a physician, he worked as an emergency department nurse at several Level I Trauma Centers.

Dr. Ditto earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and a master’s degree in biomedical science from Rosalind Franklin University. He completed his general surgery residency in Fort Worth, where he served as co-chief resident, followed by a fellowship in cosmetic surgery, where he also trained in bariatric (weight loss) surgeries.

The founder of ATX Robotic Surgery, he is experienced in using minimally invasive techniques to tailor compassionate surgical care to each patient’s needs.

When he’s not operating, Dr. Ditto enjoys wakesurfing on Lake Travis, cheering his sons on in lacrosse and soccer games, and snow skiing.
