About Dr. Ditto
After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Ditto went on to work as a Registered Nurse in the emergency rooms of several Level 1 Trauma Centers including Parkland Hospital (now UT Southwestern), Baylor University Medical Center, and Lutheran General Hospital. He has been practicing in health care in some form since 2002.
He later earned his Master’s degree in Biomedical Science with a focus on clinical research from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. He then completed his medical studies at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University, where he graduated fifth in his class.
Dr. Ditto served as co-chief during the fourth and fifth years of his residency in Fort Worth, Texas, and then completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship with a focus on bariatric surgery in Arlington, Texas. This is where he developed an interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
After his fellowship, he went out and practiced on his own and is now one of the owners of ATX Robotic Surgery. He was introduced to DaVinci Robotic surgery 5 years ago and now has an all-in robotic practice. In less than 5 years, he has completed nearly 2,000 robotic surgeries.
Dr. Ditto is married and has two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys snow and water sports spending time with his family and rooting for the University of Texas Longhorns.
