Sudeep D. Burman, DO

Dr. Sudeep Dustin Burman grew up in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Westlake High School. He then attended College at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. From there he entered Medical School at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Earning a D.O. Degree.

During his time in Medical School Dr. Burman loved human anatomy and the hands on approach to patient care. This inspired him to pursue a career in General and Trauma surgery. He completed a General Surgery residency in Fort Worth, TX and served as Chief Resident in his 5th year. For 6 years Dr. Burman worked as a trauma and acute care surgeon. This involved taking care of the very sick and injured patients who require emergent operations.

Dr. Burman was trained in minimally invasive surgery in residency. Once the Robotic Surgery platform was released he trained in learning Davinci Robotic Surgery and has completed over 1500 Robotic cases. He has attended many advanced robotic surgical courses and operates on the Davinci robotic platform daily at all the hospitals throughout Austin.

Dr. Burman is board certified in General surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

When Dr. Burman is not operating or taking care of patients he likes to run outside, spend time on the lake, and find great new restaurants to enjoy with his family.
