Appendectomy During Pregnancy

Mrs. Fischer developed a very bad Appendicitis while 31 weeks pregnant. Using the amazing maneuverability of the Davinci robot, we were able to remove the appendix even with the large uterus in the way. This technology allowed us to complete the operation in less than 30 minutes minimizing anesthesia time. She is feeling great and is seen here at her postoperative visit.
