On Friday March 26th we celebrated the 500th surgery by ATX Robotic Surgery. The ATX RS team came together at The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co. to celebrate completing 500 surgeries. Bard 3D Max Lightweight Mesh For Hernia Repair
Today Dr Burman used the brand new Bard 3D Max lightweight mesh to repair an Inguinal hernia. He is the first surgeon to use this mesh in Austin. At ATX Robotic Surgery we are always using the best technology and material to provide the highest level of care for our patients.
Appendectomy During Pregnancy
Mrs. Fischer developed a very bad Appendicitis while 31 weeks pregnant. Using the amazing maneuverability of the Davinci robot, we were able to remove the appendix even with the large uterus in the way. This technology allowed us to complete the operation in less than 30 minutes minimizing anesthesia time. She is feeling great and is seen here at her
